I examined my behavior at the festival and realized something else that helped my success: I failed, thought about a solution, and moved on to the next girl. It’s not about nexting people in a vengeful way because that is still focusing on the pain. It’s better to focus on the game and move forward. I’ve adopted a learning frame instead of an “avoiding failure frame.” Now that I’ve FELT the right frame, I’m consciously reinforcing it and practicing within it. The pain of failure now serves as a reminder of solutions instead of paralyzing me in fear.

That old “avoiding failure” frame resulted in so much uncertainty and frustration. I had heard this stuff from other guys but until I finally REALIZED it through personal experience, it didn’t sink in. I finally internalized an important principle! This inner game victory seemed to boost my understanding of game. A lot of theory makes sense now. My creativity is full on and I’m getting a steady stream of inspiration.
