FR:(good) 8/7 Sat night at SF (Marina)

THURDSDAY NIGHT I WAS JUST NOT SOCIAL ENOUGH SO I SAID TO MYSELF YOU NEED TO BE PLAIN AND SIMPLE CHATTY.. ENJOY BEING OUT AND AROUND PEOPLE.. JUST HAVE FUN..

Being new to the area, I had been in touch with Zanther from PaloAlto but until Saturday all attempts to get together with him and sarge had fallen through. We finally meet near Stanford and drive individually to SF downtown and meet with Yeyer outside Matrix.

(Thanks to the guys for showing me around town.. being new and tending to get lost in the city..and not knowing the places to go and hop between makes it difficult)

Planned to hang with Kenny (maybe Metro) and Will (who headed to a Burning Man event), but did not happen.

SO ANYONE ELSE... WILLING TO WING.. and SHOW a guy new to the AREA.. let me know..

Mental State:
Ready to push myself to be open, chatty social and dont care. Tired but still mentally amped as I dont have to work tomorrow morning.

BEGIN:

Meet Zanther and Yeyer outside the Matrix (after getting lost around the City.. ). They notice that it is too crowded so Yeyer leads us to another place (Bar None? or some other place)


Walk-in go and come back from restroom and notice lack of open sets as this is more like a restaurant

Set 1
until i notice a large table with 8-9 HB Asians (which I found out later was a Bachlorette party). I tell them lets go open them, they are like no, too many, and at table. I am like what the hell.. I'll take it as a challenge. I like to entertain groups.
Go in with false time constraint (i have to go w my friends) Opinion Opener (about asian girls and asian guys being territorial... seen that in Houston) and start playing around w some C&F, with very positive vibe and keep them engaged. I pretend to turn and, leave and basically go around the table to the Bachelorette and start talking about a prev bachlorette gang where the bachlorette had a list of things (nasty) on her t-shirt that she need to check off. (The bachlorette keeps saying, you need to serenade me..) I keep my frame and I am like whatever.. thats boring and keep talking about how bachlorette must do things before she gets married etc. take her persistently.. and make her close her eyes (she hesitates), i twirl her around, hold her by the waist.. etc.. play with her a bit and the gang.. but i think i ran out of entertaining things to say.. or holding 8-9 HB Azn attention in a loud place might be tough.

Afterthoughts:
I could have used a wing or two to come by and start a thread that allows us to split the gang (divide and conquer) and maybe select a target and do a # close and then maybe a dance close (since i almost danced w the bacholerette) and some more attract and take away ?

I discuss the afterthought with Y & Z, that they shouldve come in and helped me out. I guess next time they will.

Venue change to other bars and a karaoke bar and open a few short sets w some comments etc. w takeaways

Set 2
Walking back to Matrix, outside Matrix, 2 Set Latinas, HB7.x, HB8.x and use false time constraint and open, need a female opinion on my shirt (nice stylish).. that an old girl friend bought me as a bday gift and i liked,but my friends said was gay, etc. what'd they think.. they are like laughing and they are touching it n saying its not gay.. its stylish.. and metrosexual ..and think it looks nice.. etc.. uve got to come w me and tell my friends.. etc.. thank them for the opinon and I do a take away.

Afterthoughts:
I think i shouldve dont some more routine stacks or if I had pre-synched w a wing, we could continue that discussion with my wing coming in (as anti-shirt) and me as pro-shirt and us splitting the set and starting other threads

We go into Matrix and I am like guys we are not opening enough.. we need to open, approach open..

Set 3
I am passing through the crowded bar and this HB8.3TallSlimAzn (semi-tipsy) drops some of her drink on the back/shoulder of my shirt.. I turn around and bust on her and she apologizes etc. I keep busting on her, she gives me a hug, n i say.. im not that easy.. this is a designer shirt and shes gonna have to make up for it.. she gives me a kiss on the cheek.. im like hey.. i dont even know u.. I walk out of the crowd near the bar with semi-cockysmile-semi-disgust-w-her .. and she follows and holds me..and apologizes.. and sits down on the seat where i am standing.. I sit next to her and bust her.. why she drank so much that she spills.. she mentions its her bday.. i bust her and ask her if n what she got as bday present.. nothing.. so im like.. i can give u a bday present ;)..she lights up.. I say.. but uve got to clean this shirt, and u have to cook for me.. can you cook tofu? Shes like yes.. I am chinese.. I say.. good SPICY TOFU , Singapore Style.. that tingles your brains.. I like spicy food, shes like yes..w a big smile.. [Note: all this time since the bday present thing.. she is completely and purposely leaning on my side.. and im not returning any kino.. ActiveDI]. I ask are you rich? yes.. i said you have to take me shopping to cover for this shirt.. etc.. she is eating it up.. and totally kinoing me..

She says she has to go outside to smoke (2 times) (i assumed and noticed she was part of a set.. w atleast one more female), I am like whatever.. (she says again), so im like.. ok go out and when u come back.. look for me and then we can talk about her cooking TOFU for me.. I takeaway as she heads outside...

Afterthoughts:
I dont know if that was a hint to accompany her outside, lead her and BE THE MAN, so that shes not responsible.
-I did notice her MUCH later (after I did the following sets in Matrix) inside with some guy and I called her on her promise to cook me TOFU.. she smiled and I think she had gotten more drunk and was probably no point.. (the guy shook hands with me.. etc.. being friendly to me)..

At this point I totally could not find Y & Z and since I dont know my way around the area, I try to find them for a while. Searching I pass Z and bump into him... and..

Set 4
HBBlondeTall5, HBBrunette6(could be 7or8 if slimmed up)

I go.. hey Z, did u find Carlos? (there is no Carlos) and make n excuse saying ive been looking for him.. and then I notice that Z was almost blowing out of the set.. so Im like.. hey guys is he giving you trouble.. are you sure? cause.. he is the coolest freaking guy in Palo Alto.. I do some fluff and energy stuff (dont remember) [Zanther.. can you fill in what I said here] and do:
The best friends test, and they are like wow! thats quite an observation
Then take them on the Angel and Devil thing ..they are like and then do what.. I said it would be so cool and then we can get stupid guys to buy us drinks.. etc.. I tell one girl shes a devil and then switch nicknames.. cuz one of them says something..
I think they were entertained and stuff.. I had no idea how to split them up.. etc.. and slowly we exit.. as I was out of things to say or do..

Z was hanging around.. I dont know if he had some suggestion at the time.. to keep it running as I ran out..

Set 4.5

I opened a 2 set HB8.5RedBlonde, HB7BlackNWhiteBrunette with devil (she is in red) n angel (white).. but they were non conversant so i spoke for a bit.. about the devil n angel thing.. and then ejected.. (maybe I shouldve negged some??)

Set 5

HB8.xAzn & HB6Azn just outside a restaurant (it had a nice reddish lounge like look), I open HB8 ask her what kind of place is this.. she tells me its a rest .. i ask and comment about sushi and if its any good and somehow i transition out to how they know each other and they are upto.. HB6 steps back in as I am engaged with HB8 (find out she is a bachelorette) and she kinos me.. HB6 comes back trying to get them back in.. and I say we need to walk down like James bond and one lady on each arm.. they eat it.. and then Yeyer suggests taking a snap.. ( Zanther joins in ) and we take a group picture and we say good byes..

Later when we come back from the bar we went to and pass that restaurant again I think I'll step in to the place and check out the scene.. and since I have already befriended them, I'll get a chance at opening some targets with some "perceived" SP. Too bad, the door is locked, so I knock on the glass a few times and they turn and I TEASE them with my tongue out and my palms with fingers stretched out and thumbs on my ears.. funny faces.. get them laughing and walk..

Sets (Others)
Did a few High 5's with some set on the way ..

Set (from Matrix)
- 3 set - HB8.3Latina, HB8.3Asian, HB7.3Italian/Greek??Little Chubby
- A bunch of girls that were really loud, who I had busted on etc.. and sort of play argued with were at the Pizza Orgasmica location in line.. and loud again.. so I bust them a little again..

Afterthoughts:
- I shouldve engaged them, but knowing their highly interactive nature.. and them being challenging I knew that once I get into it they will throw a lot of Shit and CBs.. so I needed some wing to assisst with DIVIDING them.. I guess next time..

NOTE:

- I tried to push and put Yey and Zanther in the spot by the following things:
- when i say approach a set, you approach (this pushes you to do things you would not.. challenging..)
- I learned this from some guys in Houston who had done the RSD workshop and essentially you make it a WING GAME. I challenge you and you challenge me
- I think at times when I make excuses not to approach I need a wing to PUSH me to go ahead.. It usually works.. HIS persistence for me to GO.. wins over my ANXIETY not to GO.. (helps..). I TRY TO DO THE SAME... ESSENTIALLY we end up having fun.. by pushing each other like DOUBLE DRAGONS training each other on a secret martial art..

PS: If I missed some other sets or things.. I believe they might have been insignificat.
